This privacy policy sets out how Pumping Essentials, and its parent company, Aeroflow Inc., use and protect any information that you give Pumping Essentials when you use this website. Pumping Essentials is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Pumping Essentials may use and disclose protected health information in the provisions, coordination, or management of your health care, including between health care providers, primarily in cases where we cannot adequately service your account due to insurance provider coverage.

We may use and disclose protected health information to obtain reimbursement for the services/products provided to you, including determinations of eligibility and coverage and other utilization review activities. This also includes contacting your insurer on your behalf to request that Pumping Essentials be allowed into your insurer's network to facilitate you being able to obtain services under your in-network benefits.

To help with public health and safety issues (product recalls).

To comply with the law – we will share your information if the state or federal laws require it. This does include the Department of Health and Human Services.

We can share your health information about you in response to a court or a subpoena.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

  • Whenever you fill out our Qualify Through Insurance form, check the box that indicates you do not want the information to be used for direct marketing purposes.
  • If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by emailing us at customercare@pumpingessentials.com.

We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties that we think may be of interest to you.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to Pumping Essentials at 1660 School Street, Ste 105A Moraga, CA 94556-1124.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

  • We will say “yes” to all reasonable requests.

Ask us to limit what we use or share

  • You can ask us not to use or share certain health information for treatment, payment, or our operations. We are not required to agree to your request, and we may say “no” if it would affect your care.
  • If you pay for a service or health care item out-of-pocket in full, you can ask us not to share that information for the purpose of payment or our operations with your health insurer. We will say “yes” unless a law requires us to share that information.

Get a list of those with whom we’ve shared information

  • You can ask for a list (accounting) of the times we’ve shared your health information for six years prior to the date you ask, who we shared it with, and why.
  • We will include all the disclosures except for those about treatment, payment, and health care operations, and certain other disclosures (such as any you asked us to make). We’ll provide one accounting a year for free but will charge a reasonable, cost-based fee if you ask for another one within 12 months.

Bill for your services
